Topic: The Pathway To Revival
Understand revival as 3 things:
1. It simply means change. It is an improvement on the condition on the strength, ability and success of someone.
2. It means a bringing back or coming back into use, attention or from a decline.
3. It is also the awakening or quickening of God's people to their true nature and purpose.
There must be awakening in a person which becomes very addictive to him and begins to shoot out to other people.
God wants you to go out there and shine. The Bible says 'your' light, not 'our' light.
3 things that instigate revival:
1. The restoration of order.
The first thing that God did in the creation of the earth was to create order.
Many people have no financial, eating, academic or spiritual order and a life out of order is chaotic.
2. The devotion of price.
Many people don't want to pay the price for revival or the price for greatness. They need a fast track to the top.
Praying alone is not a price paid. Many people love to pray to avoid paying the price.
You can't have what someone else has until you are willing to pay the price they paid.
3. The consecration of christ
Consecration is not touching what God has not given you.
